Government Physical Education College, Rajshahi Bangladesh 2nd Government Physical Education College. In 1954, the journey of the first physical education college began in Gouripur, Mymensingh. In 1979, the construction work of the Government Physical Education College was started by the Public Works Department. In 1979, the college continued to function with 1 lecturer, 4 office staff and 8 4th grade staff. After all the preparations were made to start the training work from July 1983, the Junior Diploma in Physical Education (JDPE) course was started and the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) course was started in the following year from 1984. . Currently there are total 6 government physical education colleges in Bangladesh.
